ULTISIL Silica Fabrics
ULTISIL fabrics and special products are specially processed silica textiles having improved temperature properties over our Siltemp silica textiles. ULTISIL combines the unique properties of higher strength retention and flexibility after long exposure to temperatures as high as 20000F (10500C). ULTISIL fabrics are ideal for furnace curtains, stress relief blankest, expansion joints, insulations involving encapsulation of refractory wools, aerospace composites, seals and gaskets.
The
standard fabric is suitable for most applications. Pre-shrunk UNTISIL should
be used in applications requiring low residual shrinkage.
